In a journey exploring the complex feelings of a Syrian mother who had to seek asylum in Sweden and leave her children behind in Lebanon without a guardian, the film digs into the characters’ feelings development of both the mother and her sons. Due to the two years that the system of the Swedish migration agency took to process the application for reunification, her eldest son Adeeb turned 18 and his application was denied, while the youngest one Rabea left his brother alone and was able to live in Sweden, something that turns out to be harder than he thought.
